Zonda I - 1st stage: conversion into lightening vessel for offshore operation with eccentric cranes, and all auxiliary gear. New dedicated electric plant was fitted. The vessel performed transferring about 25,000 tons in 40 hrs, including completion. The nominal capacity was of about 1,000 tons/hr. Basic and detailed design, and supervision of works. Also assistance and advice was given to the owners along the operation for many years.
Zonda I - 2nd stage: installation of rail mounted hoppers with incorporated loading arms. Concept, basic and detailed design and supervision of works. Technical assistance and advising during operation.
Sudestada: The vessel was converted from a gearless ore-carrier, to a self unloader by the installation on board of fixed vacuvators to operate offshore. Auxiliary services, were provided from dedicated systems fitted on board the vessel, for increasing operability and reliability. The vessel performed transferring operations of about 25,000 tons in 60 hrs including completion. Basic and detailed design, and supervision of works. Also assistance and advice was given during the operation.
Rio Branco: conversion into salt lightening vessel was studied. The crane + hoppers concept was employed.
Express Leader: conversion into salt lightening vessel was studied. The crane + hoppers concept was employed.
Princess Fátima: formerly a product carrier, it was converted to carry crudes. Project development, class approval, and supervision of works.
Alianza G3: conversion from bulk carrier into tanker (product carrier). Basic and detailed design and supervision of works.
Terra Australis: a jumboizing was studied in order to enlarge the passenger capacity of the cruiser.
Car carrier barge: for the Paraná river. A convertible barge suitable for containers and car carrying.
PCLOADER loading instrument: Windows based loading program fully developed by us. It was specially conceived for use on board, and fully covers all chief matte's needs. Tankers and bulk carriers versions are available.
Pilot Boat: a catamaran pilot boat to operate in the River Plate, was designed.
Manoeuvring and control: study and model tests carried out locally with methods specially developed by our staff to enhance the difficulties of seagoing units sailing in the restricted and winding waters of the Paraná river. A river bend was also modelled. In co-operation with the University of Buenos Aires and Province of Buenos Aires Hydrodynamic Lab.
Fenicia: River barge fitted for container operation and optimised for maximum carrying capacity.
Lady Fortune: Cargo gear capacity enlarged, and transformed for special operation.
Karinas / Alianza G1: the engine room and accommodation of a Panamax size bulk carrier was connected to the forward section of a sea going barge by means of a new transition ring. The conversion involved complex structure analysis. It was successfully carried out in Brazil under our supervision.
F.P.S.O: feasibility study and preliminary specifications for the conversion of a 67.000 m3 tanker, in an F.P.S.O. to operate in the Patagonian coast.
Lady Marina: containers fitting installed and carrying capacity optimised.
